Our Story

In 2014, a steering committee under the leadership of Bishop Rob Nolan, paved the way for a worshipping, Anglican community in Springfield. A Saturday evening service began in August of that same year.
From this there grew a passionate and energetic group of people, committed to the growth of the church and the Brisbane Diocese approved the creation of the Provisional Parish of Springfield. In March 2015 a part-time minister, Rev. Graham Dorman, was appointed to grow and develop this exciting, new Christian community.

On the 30th of July 2016 the Parish welcomed its first full-time minister, Rev. Charlie Lacey, who was recruited from the Diocese of London. In October 2016, a new, regular Sunday service was launched. Since then the church has grown year on year and is now a vibrant, mission focussed church with a thriving children’s ministry.

There are many opportunities to worship, connect, serve and minister as we proclaim the good news of Jesus.
